(Note:  Thomas Kough was born on 11 February 1810.1 He was the son of Edward Kough and Eliza Goff. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, and was a practising barrister. His sister Eliza married Rev Robert William Burton, 1832 (see above). Catherine Norman was a

daughter of Thomas Norman and Catherine Lyons-Montgomery)
